Breast Augmentation – Case of the week 1

This is a 32 year old female who presented for breast augmentation including correction of mild asymmetry as well as lifting of breasts. She has no history of pregnancy and no significant weight loss. She wanted to be full. Because she had fairly breast tissue volume I  used  saline breast implants which allowed me to compensate for the very small differential in size difference and add 15 cc more saline on the right. While I usually place the implants below the muscle I went above the muscle, thereby, being able to lift the breast indirectly and not need a formal breast lifting procedure in addition to the augmentation. Post-operatively she has excellent breast symmetry with good lifting and fullness. She is a small D cup. Needless to say she is very happy.
