Dr. George Lefkovits
Director of Park Plaza Plastic Surgery, Dr. George Lefkovits is a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has extensive training and experience in performing plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Lefkovits attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and State University of New York Downstate Medical College for his degrees.

He completed an Internship in General Surgery at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, as well as a two-year residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was chief resident. He has been in private practice performing plastic surgery in New York since 1981. The depth of his education and the length of his experience have honed his aesthetic sense and enabled him to see beyond the fads that are marketed as the next big thing as a plastic surgeon.
Plastic Surgeon – Dr. George Lefkovits is a recognized leader in women’s and men’s cosmetic surgery. Among his many specialties are breast augmentation, Brazilian Butt Lift, tummy tuck, mommy makeover, gynecomastia (male breast reduction is a popular surgery for men).

He has been published in peer-reviewed plastic surgery literature, including the Annals of Plastic Surgery, and has given presentations at many national and international meetings, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons national meeting.
Dr. Lefkovits served as an assistant professor of plastic surgery at New York Medical College, and is part of the plastic surgery teaching program at the Lenox Hill Hospital. He is also a guiding plastic surgery councilor of medical students at Downstate Medical College.
