Many women and some men are bothered by the sparsity of their eyebrows. The degree of sparsity varies form minimal spot-like areas of hair density to more diffuse involvement. The two most common treatments for eyebrow restoration are Micro blading and hair transplantation
MICRO BLADING is a non-surgical treatment performed under topical anesthesia which takes about 2 hours and usually is followed by a touch-up after 4 weeks.
Advantage- the procedure is non-surgical and less costly
Disadvantage- it is not permanent, usually lasting about 1-3 years
HAIR TRANSPLANTATION is a surgical procedure performed under local anesthesia which takes about 4-5 hours.
Advantage- the result is PERMANENT. There is no need for continued treatments
Disadvantage- it’s a surgical procedure, even though it is performed under local anesthesia. It is more expensive
