MICROBLADING OF EYEBROWS

Micro blading of the eyebrows is a form of non-traditional, semi-permanent tattooing used for eyebrow restoration.

TECHNIQUE

The procedure involves the use of a small tool with very tiny needles which draw fine hair strokes while simultaneously depositing pigment under the skin.

The procedure is done under topical anesthesia and takes about 2 hours.

HOW DOES MICROBLADING DIFFER FROM TATTOOING?

Unlike with traditional tattooing, in micro blading the strokes used to deposit the pigment are more superficial. Also the pigment particles are less concentrated leading to a softer and more natural result.

HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?

The pigment used is eventually metabolized by the body so it fades away. The result lasts 1-3 years.

A touch-up is usually is usually suggested after 4 weeks. This fee is quite nominal.

POST- TREATMENT CARE

It is recommended that the eyebrows do not get wet for 1 week after treatment. Also it is helpful not to get sweat on the brows for 1 week so exercise should be limited. An antibiotic ointment is recommended to be applied to the eyebrows for a few days..
